This session on ADA Compliance and Web Accessibility will focus on: What ADA and Web Accessibility mean, why is it Important, and how is it achieved (components). We will cover basic knowledge, concepts, and best practices. Resources and tools will also be discussed that can be used by schools to “self-help" when it comes to web accessibility. We will use our RediSite
platform as an example, however, the general knowledge is platform-neutral, and the concepts can be applied to any website or host. Participants should have at least some basic knowledge of web content and editing.
